In late 2020, the CZMU concluded the scientific, technical, internal review and public consultation processes for the updating of the Integrated Coastal Zone Management Plan for Barbados. The updated plan was laid before Parliament, approved and gazetted, making it a legally enforceable document for use by stakeholders in the physical development and environmental management sectors.
