Integrated Coastal Zone Management Plan

In late 2020, the CZMU concluded the scientific, technical, internal review and public consultation processes for the updating of the Integrated Coastal Zone Management Plan for Barbados. The updated plan was laid before Parliament, approved and gazetted, making it a legally enforceable document for use by stakeholders in the physical development and environmental management sectors. Both volumes of the updated ICZM Plan as well as the boundaries of the Coastal Zone Management Area (including coordinates) can be accessed via the links below:
