The Project Execution Unit of the Coastal Zone Management Unit (CZMU) will host an online workshop for contractors interested in bidding for shoreline protection works under the Climate Resilient & Sustainable Integrated Coastal Zone Management Programme (CRS-ICZM).

The workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Contractors will be introduced to the new environmental, social, health, and safety requirements for capital works projects funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

Key topics will include Understanding the Environmental and Social Policy Framework – its requirements and implications for contractors; breaking down the Environmental and Social Management Plan – its components and obligations; Compliance and monitoring expectations, Pricing strategies for successful bidding, and Management during construction.
